Hopefully I have some time to work on it over the weekend. Have some other stuff I need to settle. And also, I’ve already thought of my next Gunpla project. Well, actually, next two Gunpla projects really. But, we’ll wait and see if I have time.

The shoulders look a bit close to the chest. I’ll probably extend it out a little later on.

Legend’s fist guards/shield generators thingum. I’ll cut them and filed them, and I’ve also added a ‘stub’ onto them. The reason is because the Legend’s fist is too restrictive. So instead of mounting the shield generators on the fist, I’m mounting them on the forearm instead, into the hole that’s already on the forearm (where Providence’s shield initially slots into).

The above are Corner Moulds 1 and 2, and I bought them in Japan some 2 years plus ago. They cost me less than 200 yen each (that’s like S$3 each).

Currently held together by blu-tack. Basically it’s the Providence’s forearm, with the Legend’s fist/shield generator. The beam sabre and its holder is taken from Legend’s leg portion. If you look at Legend’s leg armour, you’d see that there’s a portion where the beam sabre is stored. I’ve basically taken the internal frame of that and modified it (trimmed off parts of it and sanded it down) to fit onto the forearm. There are some gaps that need pla-plating, but this is the rough idea of how the forearm will eventually look.

I’ll probably have the arms (and maybe the waist) ready by the next weekend.

I had spare parts from Nix Providence and Legend Gundams; so I figured “What the heck, let’s play with something.”

I present to you: ZGMF-X13A-LAWS Providence Gundam (Light Arms Weapon System)! The main concept of the build is to create a sort of close combat, high-speed variant to the Providence Gundam, whilst at the same time being a ‘proto-Legend’. Sure, there was the Providence ZAKU, but the ZAKU’s test weaponry were mainly the new DRAGOON system, the prototype MA-BAR76T High-energy beam rifle and MA-M90S beam javelins. The X13A-LAWS’s main purpose is to be a test-bed for MX2351 “Solidus Fulgor” beam shield generator instead, alongside the MA-M80S “Defiant Kai” beam javelins which were used on the Legend later.

Finally done with it! Well, not exactly… I still have to top-coat it.

As you can see, I painted on the silver stuff on the deck of the Galleon.

And here it is from a different angle! Looks neat huh? And before you ask anything about the ‘cannon-like’ looking things that are supposed to be on the deck of the Galleon, I was forced to use a ‘cheap’ replacement sticker as I accidentally spoiled the sticker.

On a side note, Pink’s Marine has been a troublesome piece, and it will hopefully be done by tomorrow night. With the GokaiOh out of the way, here’s hoping that I can start on one or two reviews, as well as start on a new Gunpla project.

Oh yea, I’ve started working on a temporary job for about six months before I enter university, so that equates to having less time for this blog as well. It doesn’t help that I may be required to bring my work home as well. But, we’ll see how things go. I’m really aiming for at least two reviews before the month of January is up. Hopefully I can keep to my plan.
