A little late, considering that this was released some 2 years ago… Long story; but finally, a review of UltraSeven!
UltraSeven is the second Ultraman series, airing in 1967. Seven is such a popular character that he has made cameos in nearly every Ultra Series after his own, and has far more exposure than even the original Ultraman. Either Seven or his human form (Moroboshi Dan) appeared in Return of Ultraman, Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Taro, Ultraman Leo and Ultraman 80. His more recent appearances were in the Ultraman Mebius series, Ultraman Mebius and the Ultra Brothers, Superior Ultra 8 Brothers, Ultra Galaxy: NEO and its movies. And of course, there’s also UltraSeven X, a spin-off of UltraSeven featuring Seven in an alternate dimension. Moroboshi Dan makes a cameo in the last episode of that series.
The Ultra Act version of Seven was released on Christmas Day in 2010, making it one of the earlier releases of the Ultra Act line. It was the 8th figure in the line, to be precise. Ultra Act was still in its infancy period, and had a lot of kinks to work out then. Aesthetics weren’t the best then – I have to say that Seven looks a little odd in this Ultra Act figure. The shoulder articulation for this figure is particularly limited; it’s hard to get him into the Wide Shot attack pose.
Okay, enough talk, pictures!
Accessories: Seven comes with a few items. From L to R: We have an option part for Seven throwing the Eye Slugger, the Wide Shot beam attack, options parts for the Emerium Beam attack, an extra Eye Slugger (the one on the head is removable), a pair of chopping hands, a pair of holding things hands, and a pair of open hands. The Ring Shot attack and weaker version of the Wide Shot isn’t included though.
And the mantle is passed on to Zero…

Well, hope you guys enjoyed the pictures! Till the next review!
